D. A. Karr’s passion for writing began with her young Thoroughbred, Barrett. She began writing novels to become a part of the real world outside of technology. Fed by a passion to create, she started the “The Adventures of Barrett: The Racehorse with Magic Shoes”. Then continuing to expand her writing, she wrote "The Legend of Pendyne", a historical fiction novel about the transformation of Ireland and Wales in 1691.
Pushing the stakes even higher into screenplays, "Perduellis", a new sci-fi action thriller is now on the market. It's amazing that the pre-sale publicity over "Perduellis" ranges from "must see, curious, must be good, controversial, stealing it, I'll see it". Screenplay writers don't advertise like it's American Idol. No voting, no ads. Gossiping doesnt hurt. That's Hollywood. If that's the pre-sale, then wait until it goes into production. All that action and FX will definately be a thriller. |
