| On the Darley Arabian screen, look at the names of the horses. Any familar names? Click on the last name on the list Old Bald Peg (1635). You will see the Fairfax Barb, Lion (IRE) (1591), Robush (1581). These are the original sires imported by King Henry VII's daughter, Elizabeth I. All Thoroughbreds originate from this pedigree. This was basically the earliest recorded date from the Royal Racing Stables of the House of Tudor. |
